Dacusville United Methodist Church
After seeing how Reverand Underwood and the church body ministered to the Dacusville community when so many families were without power in the aftermath of Hurricane Helene, we knew we wanted to do what we could to help them. What started as an offer of support has led to an ongoing relationship.
The Problem
Dacusville United Methodist Church is incredibly active in the community, but didn't have a website that communicated their offerings to their members and the Dacusville community at large.
The Process
We worked with the church pastor and Trustees to establish the top three goals for their website:
The top three goals for Dacusville UMC's new website are:
- Connect with potential visitors
- Share events and updates with members
- Minister to the community
Goal #1
Connect with potential visitors
Goal #2
Share events and updates with members
Goal #3
Minister to the community
The Solution
We created a welcoming website that features current events, allows members and potential visitors to view livestreamed and archived services, and provides updates on the life of the church.
The website design creates a visual continuity with the United Methodist Church website without sacrificing its own personality.
Finally, we also included a custom Prayer Wall plugin for members and visitors to share prayer requests and offer prayers for others in the church community.
